The art is Templeton’s own but is in the style of BTAS and it is just wonderful.

The art of Ty Templeton is on point for BTAS. I really like seeing Boston Brand pop up in new comics stories. Oh, and we also get Deadman who is another fantastic and personal favorite character from DC Comics. The story is perfect BTAS coming to the comics. I am totally here for it and this first issue was on fire! I can’t wait to read more. Now, Talon and the rest of the Owls come to the BTAS universe. I love those Batman stories and the Court of Owls was certainly a highlight of that run. One of the highlights of the New 52 reboot of DC Comics was Scotty Snyder and Greg Capullo’s Batman. The first season was about Deathstroke and this season brings in the Court of Owls. For those wondering, I pull the White Knight Universe stories too, but I digress.īurnett and Dini bring more characters to the BTAS Universe that never made it to the animated series. But, Batman The Adventures Continue is one of the two Batman books that I will pull. DC has a lot of characters with really rich backstories that I would really like to see more in the comics. I honestly think that Batman is a little over done in the comics line. Wes Greer, another writer here at Comics the Gathering, usually takes care of the Batman titles. I don't read and I don’t pull many Batman titles. Alan Burnett and Paul Dini continue to impress in the Batman The Animated Series Universe and Season Two of the Adventures Continue is another great entry.

Batman the adventures continue season 1
